As we wrap up this year, we are looking at celebrating, reflecting, and planning.  These are all essential aspects of how we have spent our time this year, what we have learned, and how we intend to live next year.  This week let's reflect on 2022 and how you have lived your life.

"Be a reflection of what you'd like to receive.  If you want love, give love.  If you want the truth, be truthful.  If you want respect, give respect.  What you give out will return to you." --  Anon

So many times, when a person reflects on their life, they think about tangibles items; did they get that promotion and raise, did they get that new car, did their kids get into a specific school?  The tangibles are easy to see and judge whether we feel we accomplished what we wanted, while qualities and character are sometimes not considered.

Today's Coaching Challenge

How much better would this coming year be if you had more love in your life?  How would you feel if each day your commitment to yourself was to be the best person you could possibly be?

While reflecting on 2022 consider whether your character qualities are at a level for you to model for others or perhaps, they could use some improvement.  Did you work with and use your strengths frequently?  Are there qualities or habits that didn't serve you well?  Giving yourself time to think about this aspect of your life can give you available information when you start planning for 2023.

Action to take

Take a few minutes today to review the quote above and decide if there is something you want more of in your life and how you can give more of that to others to receive more in return.
